02 |
Drive to Besham via Mansehra carvings excursion. Arrive Besham and transfer to hotel. Over night at Besham. (Besham is 270 km from Islamabad and it takes 07hrs by coach).

Drive from Besham to Hunza via Shatial rock carvings. Arrive Karimabad and transfer to Hotel.
Over night at Karimabad.
(Karimabad is 440 km from Besham and it takes 12hrs by coach).

04 |
After B/fast drive to Hoper, it’s about 1.5 hour’s jeep drive.
Arrive Hoper and take the porters for the trek to Bercho Kor.
From Hoper (2790m), descend steeply to the edge of the Bualtar Glacier. Reach the huts and pastures of Mulharai where tamarisk offers shade and take hot lunch at Mulharai.
Bericho Kor (3300m) where a porters’ shelter hugs a boulder, 5.5 km from Tagaphari. Bericho are musicians, and kor means ‘cave’.
Over night at Bericho Kor.

05 |
After Early B/fast walk on to the Chidin Harai (4 to 5 hours).
This 1140m climb is relentlessly steep hot and dry, with no water until Chidin Harai.
Chidin Harai (4440m) has a goat pen, a few shepherds’ huts, and grassy areas for camping.
Chidin Harai enjoys late after noon light and is a perfect camp from which to enjoy sunset and sunrise on the imposing Hispar Muztagh to north-east. This wall of 7000m peaks includes: Lupgar SAR (7728m), Mulungutti SAR (7025m), and Disteghil SAR (7885m).
Over night at Chidin Harai.

06 |
After Sun Rise Walk on to the Rush Phari (4694m) about 40 minutes walk. Enjoy the views of the Mair Glacier, Spantik, Diran, and Phuparash. Two unclimbed 6000m-to-6200m peaks to the south are visible behind the rocky Rush Peak.
Climb the flowered slopes for one hour to a hilltop (4938m) with a cairn and several tent platforms, but no water. From here, the assistant pyramid of K2 is visible to the east. From here, K2 is dramatically larger, Broad Peak and Gasherbrum4 are visible, and Baintha Brak looms above the Hispar La (5151m).Nowhere else in the Karakoram can you get such magnificent mountain views on such a short trek.

07 |
After B/fast leave to Phahi Phari it takes 2 to 3 hrs. The descent 1250m to Phahi Phari in 4.5 km is steep. From the stone shelters and cairns the lake, an obvious gully descends towards the Barpu Glacier.
Views of the Sumayar Bar and Miar glaciers, and Malubiting and Phuparash peaks are awesome. Phahi Phari (3450m) has reliable water and shade. Dinner & Over night at Phahi Phari.

After
B/fast leave to Hoper valley lunch at Hoper and
drive back to Karimabad by jeep over night at
Karimabad.
Remaining time of the day, rest at the hotel.

AM: Leave for half day Upper Hunza excursion till Passu.
PM: Sight seeing of Karimabad, including Baltit fort & Karimabad bazaar.

Drive from Hunza to Besham and over night at Hotel.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Drive from Besham to Islamabad via Taxila.
Visit Jaulian, Sirkap & Taxila Museum.
Arrive Islamabad, after an early dinner transfer to the Islamabad Airport.
